Even the Scourgelanders need to sit back and relax from time to time, have some sweet dates or enjoy a spicy Zeek-Eggs liquor at the sub-terrain taverns. Lara is one of the fiercest hunters at the tribe, but when she's not hunting twisted Ashen Alfar or ferocious Zeek in her chitin armour, she loves to perform at the subterrain Tavern as a pole dancer. As strange as it might seems, Lara can't be separated from Scourgy, a little Cellar Scourge Zeek.

Scourgeland human tribes are lead by wise womans, who knows the secret of these cursed lands and all its perils. Nanaari the Wise Woman, now at the surprisingly age of 103, is the one who teach the children how to survive and to use Zeek materials. In battle, she's not only an excellent warrior with her staff, she's also capable of casting shamanic and healing spells. Nanaari is the only human in the Scrourgeland who managed to naturally tame a Zeek Blade, one of the most cunning and dangerous predators of the desert.

Hiro Dustwalker is the high hunter of the tribe, collector of Zeek heads and master at crafting Zeek Chitin weapons. During a caravan guard duty he and his companions had been eaten alive by a gargantuan Zeek worm. He has been the only one to get back alive to the camp, opening his way out of the monstruosity's stomach with a sharp iron knife, a rare heritage of his ancestors.
